About Nicole

Nicole Ainscough spent over twenty years working in Canadian hospitals as a Respiratory Therapist in the Emergency Room and Intensive Care Nursery. Working with trauma made Nicole aware of the importance of human touch in supporting the health of the patient. When she began to study biodynamic craniosacral therapy, where she was deeply impressed with how it affected the body and its healing.

Nicole is an approved teacher and Registered Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist with the BCTA/NA. Nicole trained with Body Intelligence under Ged Sumner and Sheila Kean, both recognized leaders in the field. Craniosacral Therapy uses a sustained, very gentle, non-invasive touch to reorient the body towards health and is effective for all ages, including newborns and during pregnancy.

Nicole continues to learn every day from the amazing changes she sees in her clients. She is a certified elemental Chi Kung instructor, trained in Natural Movement. Nicole divides her professional time between teaching and her private practice, based in Calgary, Alberta. Additionally, she offers individual and group movement classes (details available by request).
